Track & Field Set to Compete at NAIA Outdoor Nationals

MARION, Ind. — The Mount Vernon Nazarene University outdoor track and field program is set to begin the 2024 NAIA Outdoor Track & Field National Championships, hosted by Indiana Wesleyan University on May 22-24.

The men’s 4x100m relay of Seth McCloskey, Jaden Haldeman, Liam Near, and Bryce Wiles will compete on Wednesday at 3:30pm. Finals for the event takes place on Friday at 1:50pm. The team is seeded 26th with a time of 41.24.

Jaden Haldeman will also compete in the 400m hurdles on Wednesday at 4:55pm. Finals for the event are on Friday at 3:20pm. Haldeman is seeded 16th with a time of 53.08.

Mason Hendrickson takes on the steeplechase on Wednesday at 7:55pm. Finals are on Friday at 1:20pm. Hendrickson is seeded 35th with a time of 9:27.91.

Brooke Holloway competes in the pole vault finals at 12:00pm on Wednesday. Holloway is seeded at 21st overall with a mark of 3.65m.

The 110m hurdles take place on Thursday. Connor Williams runs at 2:15pm and is seeded 28th with a time of 14.68. Finals take place on Friday at 2:30pm.

The men’s 4x400m relay of McCloskey, Haldeman, Near, Isaac Ramseyer/Marcus Whaley compete in prelims on Thursday at 8:45pm. Finals are set for 5:25pm. The team is seeded 20th with a time of 3:15.90.

Tyler Shipley performs in the pole vault finals on Friday at 1:00 pm. Shipley ranks fourth overall with a vault of 5.00m.

Lyssi Snouffer competes in the high jump finals on Friday at 2:00pm. Snouffer is seeded at fifth overall with a jump of 1.72m.

Micah Tuggle competes in the shotput finals on Friday at 3:00pm. Tuggle is seeded 28th with a mark of 15.92m.
