THE SUMMER FRONT PORCH CONCERT SERIES RETURNS TO EAST HIGH STREET JUNE 21

Mount Vernon, Ohio – The Summer Front Porch Concert Series returns bigger than ever on June 21st from 6:00-9:00 p.m. on East High Street in Mount Vernon, Ohio. This beloved community event will take place the third Friday of June, July, and August, transforming the charming East High Street neighborhood into a vibrant hub of live music and community spirit.

The June Summer Front Porch Concert Series aims to celebrate the local and regional music scene and provide a platform for both established and up-and-coming artists. The series will feature a diverse lineup of musicians spanning various genres, promising something for every musical taste. “We are excited to bring back the Summer Front Porch Concert Series, which has become a highlight of the summer season in Mount Vernon,” said Chuck Rogers, member of the Front Porch Concerts Series planning committee. “It’s a wonderful way for the community to come together, support local artists, and enjoy the beauty and spirit of our wonderful town.”

In addition to enjoying the music, you can also take part in June’s Arts Theme, “Think Outside the Box,” as a viewer or participant. Those participating in the Arts Theme are invited to build, create, and make their own personal costume strictly out of cardboard. Bring your creation to the June Front Porch Concert and share your inspiration as you walk down East High Street, entertaining the crowd. Don’t forget to bring lawn chairs and blankets to sit on as you enjoy a lovely summer evening of music. Come hungry, as there will be four local food trucks at the event serving a variety of delicious options, including burgers, pasta, and Thai cuisine to cater to all tastes.
