Construction continues in Knox County

The following construction projects are anticipated to affect highways in Knox County. All outlined work is weather permitting.

Boeshart Road closure at intersection of U.S. 62 – Beginning Tuesday, May 28, Boeshart Road will be closed at the western intersection of U.S. 62 for a culvert replacement. Estimated completion is Friday, May 31. Detour: Carey Lane to U.S. 36 EB to U.S. 62 EB and reverse.

State Route 229/State Route 308State Route 229/State Route 308/Laymon Road roundabout project – This project includes construction of roundabout at the intersection of SR 229/SR 308/Laymon Road and shared use pathway along SR 308 between SR 229 and Ward Street within Village of Gambier. Estimated completion is November 2024.New impacts: Beginning Monday, June 3, the intersection of SR 229/SR 308/Laymon Road will close to traffic for construction of a roundabout. Detour: SR 13 to U.S. 36 to U.S. 62. Estimated completion is November 15, 2024.
