Vyntyge Skynyrd Live @ Amish Country Theater
May 5 @ 7:00 pm – 11:00 pm

The Amish Country Theater’s shows are performed in a remarkable 600-seat auditorium with state-of-the art lighting, video, and sound. Connected to Encore Hotel and Suites, this premiere tourist destination in the heart of Amish Country makes this a great getaway! Lynyrd Skynyrd was the most formidable band ever to emerge from the South. Vyntyge Skynyrd tributes and celebrates the 1970’s era of the band by replicating this timeless music as it was originally recorded and performed. Vyntyge Skynyrd captures the fire and heart of the band, as well as the soul of their fearless leader Ronnie Van Zant. You’ll be transported back to 1977 where you will hear all the classic Skynyrd favorites such as Sweet Home Alabama, Saturday Night Special, Gimme Three Steps, and of course you can yell “FREEBIRD” all you like because you will in fact get it! “I want to thank you guys for carrying on the name of Lynyrd Skynyrd” – Johnny Van Zant (Lynyrd Skynyrd lead singer) “Vynytge Skynyrd is helping to keep Lynyrd Skynyrd’s music alive” – Artimus Pyle (former Lynyrd Skynyrd drummer) “One of the best tributes I’ve ever seen” – Gene Odom (former Lynyrd Skynyrd Security Manager and plane crash survivior) “I love your band. Skynyrd prided themselves in getting it right every night. You guys nailed it. By the way, I’ve listened to most of your posts.” – Paul Abraham (former Lynyrd Skynyrd Manager, writer, friend of the band) VYNTYGE SKYNYRD IN CONCERT: Lynyrd Skynyrd was the most formidable band ever to emerge from the South. Vyntyge Skynyrd celebrates the 1970’s era of the band by replicating this timeless music as it was originally recorded and performed. Vyntyge Skynyrd captures the fire and heart of the band, as well as the soul of their fearless leader Ronnie Van Zant. You’ll be transported back to 1977 where you will hear all the classic Skynyrd favorites such as “Sweet Home Alabama”, ”Saturday Night Special”, ”Gimme Three Steps”, and of course you can yell “FREEBIRD” all you like because you will in fact get it! THE IMPORTANCE OF GETTING IT RIGHT: Vyntyge Skynyrd understands that there is a responsibility to learn and perform these classic songs correctly, and if you close your eyes you will hear all of those classic riffs and nuances that bring you right back to 1977. Singer Dave Musgrove’s voice is very reminiscent of Ronnie Van Zant, and the guitars rip through the songs and solos with the authority that they deserve. Together with honky tonk piano and a driving rhythm section, the listener is immersed in an amazing recreation of a 1970’s live concert experience. There are no backing tracks or gimmicks. TICKET BUYERS SAY: “Absolutely fabulous! Close your eyes an you’d swear they were Lynyrd Skynyrd. a very talented group. Well worth seeing! Rock on…” “That was a GREAT show, all of it!! That was a serious CONCERT!! We had the best seats too!!! Thank you!!” “Never heard anyone even ATTEMPT “Curtis Loew” before and you guys nailed it! Great slide work — kudos to the guitarist who played it!” “When you guys performed Simple Man it was emotional, you could feel it in the air. Keep on with it guys hope to see you perform again.”
