Location: Marta Louise Ballroom

Tickets are $40-$90 (based on location)

Dinner will be a mixed greens salad with Italian dressing, barbeque grilled chicken breast, boursin mashed potatoes, & bacon and garlic green beans. Plus, Chef’s choice of dessert. Full bar available for purchase.

Headliner: Bobcat Goldthwait

Since Bobcat Goldthwait’s first appearance on the David Letterman Show at the age of 20, he has gone on to maintain a thriving career as a writer, director, actor, voice actor and stand-up comedian. As a comedian, Bobcat has starred in numerous HBO/Showtime specials, performed in venues all over the world, and even went on tour as an opening act for the Band: Nirvana. Well known for his roles in “Scrooged” with Bill Murray and as Zed in the “Police Academy” franchise, Goldthwait has gone on to become a well-respected Award-Winning Director. His Directorial works include Television (Jimmy Kimmel, Chappell’s Show, Community, Maron, Those Who Can’t), feature films (World’s Greatest Dad starring Robin Williams, Willow Creek starring Bigfoot, God Bless America, Windy City Heat, and Sleeping Dogs Lie) and documentaries (Call Me Lucky and Joy Ride). In addition to being a 4x Sundance Alumni, Goldthwait’s films have played internationally including Deauville Film Festival and San Sebastian Film Festival. Bobcat has been honored with the German Independent Honorary Award at Oldenburg Film Festival for his collective works. Bobcat has also directed numerous standup comedy specials (Patton Oswalt, Marc Maron, Ron Funches, Iliza Shleshinger, Mo Willems, Gary Gulman, Hari Kondabolu, Eugene Mirman) and is currently working on converting his critically acclaimed documentary “Call Me Lucky” into a narrative film with Judd Apatow. Also in development, is an original Narative called “The Banishers” with QC Entertainment. After fleeing Los Angeles, he now lives somewhere in the woods in Illinois with his girlfriend, Nora Muhlenfeld, and their cats: Anderson Coopurr, Tina Sparkle, Bruce Wayne and Robert Smith.

*Featured speaker for the event is Henry Zerby Ph.D

Dr. Zerby has a diversified background in the meat industry including being head of Meat Science at OSU, working for Wendy’s International, and currently VP of procurement for North America for the Sodexo Corp Headquarters.

KCSAI serves Knox County Sheep producers by sponsoring educational & promotional activities that showcase the sheep industry in the county.

This is the 7th year the KCSAI will present a $500 scholarship to a High School Senior who exhibits a lamb at the fair or resides on a commercial sheep farm.

An auction will be held at the banquet to benefit the scholarship fund.

Our hearts ♥️ have been so heavy with the tragic news involving our community LongBranch family.
A group of vendors have decided to donate items to create silent auctions for the families.
We plan to get everything around, take pictures and post the auction photos on our page later this week.
The auction will run from February 5 to February 11th, ending at 5:00pm. You will be able to come in and place you bid on the item(s) you are interested in up until the cut off time.
ALL proceeds from the auctions will go straight to the families. In addition to the auctions, we will be setting up a donation jar up.
