Summer Nature Camps at Ohio Bird Sanctuary
Our three-day Nature Camps are a fantastic and fun way to immerse your child in the natural world! Each week we will explore a different theme through games, hikes, crafts, animal encounters, activities, and snacks! Campers must be 6-12 years old to attend Nature Camp.

Phil Dirt& the Dozers perform the intricate vocal harmonies of the Beach Boys, Four Seasons, the Eagles and many more to perfection. The PHIL DIRT & THE DOZERS’ show is performed absolutely live with a sophisticated yet lighthearted approach that creates an atmosphere all age ranges will enjoy.

The Perseid meteor shower is one of the brightest meteor showers to occur in the Northern Hemisphere.
Join us at GNC for a night of astronomy and star gazing, as we settle down and try to see as many meteors as we possibly can. While we wait, we will take the time to look for planets, constellations, galaxies and much more during the evening and early morning. Best viewing times for the meteors will be just after midnight. Bring sleeping bags and plan on spending the evening! Early morning viewing will be followed by a light breakfast, featuring apple cider doughnuts from Apple Hill Orchard! The Shawshank Hustle returns to Shawshank State Prison in Mansfield, OH for the 7th running of this epic race! This event has become wildly popular for it’s fun and unique giveaways and the medal, it’s no pressure and fun atmosphere on the course which makes it great for first time racers and experienced runners alike and the unforgettable venue at the filming site of The Shawshank Redemption!
