Women’s soccer team tacks on another award

KANSAS CITY, Mo. – United Soccer Coaches released today its list of Team Academic Award winners, recognizing exemplary performance in the classroom during the 2021-22 academic year. A total of 382 women’s collegiate teams, across all divisions, earned the award, including the Kenyon College Owls.

The 2021-22 Kenyon team, directed by head coach Kelly Bryan, had 31 student-athletes who combined to chalk up a team grade point average of 3.64, which easily surpassed the baseline of 3.00 required for recognition.

On the field, Kenyon posted an overall record of 8-8-2, including a third-place 5-2-1 mark within North Coast Athletic Conference play.

The Ladies have now won the United Soccer Coaches Team Academic Award 18 times in the past 22 seasons.
