Mount Vernon, Ohio – Pizza Cottage is thrilled to announce the opening of its first location in the Mt. Vernon area, located at 510 S. Main St. The restaurant, which opened for carryout only earlier in the week, is now open for dine-in, delivery and carryout. This is the company’s 11th location. Pizza Cottage Mt. Vernon includes new products and services that are unique to this location, including a dessert case of specialty cookies and several gelato flavor options.
Pizza Cottage was founded by Jack and Yvonne Gorham in Carroll, OH in 1972. Larry Tipton, originally from Lancaster, purchased the Pizza Cottage restaurant group in 2017. Tipton also owns 10 Buffalo Wild Wings Grill and Bar® locations in Ohio (including the Mt. Vernon location) and Arizona.
“This is the fifth new Pizza Cottage location we’ve opened over the past two years,” said Larry Tipton, Pizza Cottage owner. “The Mt. Vernon community asked for a Pizza Cottage and we’re thankful that we can make their request a reality.”
