Mount Vernon Municipal Court finds 36 Guilty

MOUNT VERNON – Judge John Thatcher found ten guilty after hearings were held in
the Mount Vernon Municipal Court on November 13, 2023.
Timothy Williamson, 39, of Zanesville, was found guilty of possession of drug
paraphernalia.
Tanner Depolo, 27, of Mount Vernon, was found guilty of domestic violence.
Jenamae Lewis, 31, of Mount Vernon, was found guilty of endangering children,
operating a motor vehicle while under the influence of alcohol and/or drug of abuse
with a high test.
Corey Bednarke, 28, of Mount Vernon, was found guilty of disorderly conduct in the
presence of EMS personnel.
Cody Hess, 27, of Howard, was found guilty of two counts of operating a motor vehicle
while under the influence of alcohol and/or drug of abuse and two counts of operating a
motor vehicle while under the influence of alcohol and/or drug of abuse refusal.
Grant Fortner, 28, of Gahanna, was found guilty of operating a motor vehicle while
under the influence of alcohol with a high test.
Cory Hensley, 27, of Mount Vernon, was found guilty of physical control of motor
vehicle under the influence of alcohol and/or drug of abuse.
Clinton Durbin, 33, of Fredericktown, was found guilty of operating a motor vehicle
while under the influence of alcohol and/or drug of abuse, driving under an OVI
suspension.

Michael Wintz, 48, of Mount Vernon, was found guilty of operating a motor vehicle
while under the influence of alcohol and/or drug of abuse.
Nicole Bogard, 37, of Dayton, was found guilty of reckless operation of a motor vehicle.
Assistant Law Director Steve Potts prosecuted the Williamson, Bednarke and Durbin
cases and First Assistant Law Director Brittany Whitney prosecuted all the other cases
on behalf of the City of Mount Vernon, the State of Ohio, and the Villages of Centerburg,
Danville, Fredericktown and Gambier.

Seventeen Found Guilty on November 14, 2023

MOUNT VERNON – Judge John Thatcher found seventeen guilty after hearings were
held in the Mount Vernon Municipal Court on November 14, 2023.
Brittany Bennett, 23, of Mount Vernon, was found guilty of disorderly conduct.
Colin Grogg, 30, of Fredericktown, was found guilty of possession of drug
paraphernalia.
Daniel Huffman, 36, of Mount Vernon, was found guilty of disorderly conduct.
Earl Shoults, 60, of Mount Vernon, was found guilty of possession of drug
paraphernalia.
Alicia Ocker, 45, of Danville, was found guilty of failure to register dog.
Gaven Yoder, 23, of Mount Vernon, was found guilty of possession of drug
paraphernalia.
Leonard Ferrell, 56, of Newark, was found guilty of reckless operation of a motor
vehicle.
Jaydin White, 18, of St. Louisville, was found guilty of operating a motor vehicle after
underage consumption of alcohol.
Rosemarie Rhees, 46, of Loudonville, was found guilty of operating a motor vehicle
while under the influence of alcohol and/or drug of abuse with high test.
Brent Lehner, 41, of Lexington, was found guilty of operating a motor vehicle while
under a 12 point suspension.
Halie King, 27, of Mount Vernon, was found guilty of operating a motor vehicle without
a seatbelt.
Desaray Moore, 22, of Mount Vernon, was found guilty of speeding.

Susan Boss, 75, of Mount Vernon, was found guilty of operating a motor vehicle without
an operator’s license and speeding.
Robert Bellard, 53, of Johnstown, was found guilty of speeding in a school zone.
Randall White, 80, of Mount Vernon, was found guilty of speeding in a school zone.
Joshua Dewitt, 30, of Cardington, was found guilty of operating a motor vehicle while
under suspension.
Vauna Stoutenburgh, 24, of Mount Vernon, was found guilty of operating a motor
vehicle with a license forfeiture suspension.
Frist Assistant Law Director Brittany Whitney prosecuted the Bennett and Huffman
cases and Assistant Law Director Steve Potts prosecuted all cases on behalf of the City of
Mount Vernon, the State of Ohio, and the Villages of Centerburg, Danville,
Fredericktown and Gambier.

One Found Guilty on November 15, 2023

MOUNT VERNON – Judge John Thatcher found one guilty after hearings were held in
the Mount Vernon Municipal Court on November 15, 2023.
Reginald Hough, 62, of Youngstown, was found guilty of operating an oversized and/or
overweight vehicle off a state route.
Assistant Law Director Steve Potts prosecuted this case on behalf of the City of Mount
Vernon.

Eight Found Guilty on November 17, 2023

MOUNT VERNON – Judge John Thatcher found eight guilty after hearings and court
trials were held in the Mount Vernon Municipal Court on November 17, 2023.
Dustin Angle, 33, of Killbuck, was found guilty of operating a motor vehicle without a
valid license.
Timothy Henning, 42, of Mount Vernon, was found guilty of operating a motor vehicle
with expired plates.
Norita Hissong, 47, of Mount Vernon, was found guilty of speeding.
Amber Sisk, 42, of Mount Vernon, was found guilty of operating a motor vehicle with
fictitious plates.

Jeneal Burrows, 75, of Mount Vernon, was found guilty of operating a motor vehicle
without an operator’s license and maintaining an assured clear distance.
Avery Silliman, 28, of Mount Vernon, was found guilty of speeding 103/25, operating a
motorcycle without a helmet, and reckless operation.
Marcus Wright, 18, of Mount Vernon, was found guilty of a temporary instruction
permit violation.
Bryant Griffin, 33, of Mount Vernon, was found guilty of unsafe backing of a motor
vehicle.
Law Director Rob Broeren prosecuted these cases on behalf of the City of Mount
Vernon, the State of Ohio, and the Villages of Centerburg, Danville, Fredericktown and
Gambier.
