On June 22, 2019 at 1:30 p.m., Knox Partnership for Arts and Culture invites everyone to a free screening of the original movie, The Wizard of Oz, to be held in the beautiful, historic Woodward Opera House in downtown Mount Vernon, Ohio.

The Wizard of Oz is celebrating its 80^th anniversary this year.  Winner of 2 Academy Awards and nominated for 4 more, The Wizard of Oz has been delighting audiences, young and old, for 8 decades.  And, if you haven’t had a chance to see the beautifully renovated Woodward Opera House, America’s oldest authentically restored theater, you are in for a real treat!  Bring all your family and friends to enjoy this free showing of The Wizard of Oz!
