Habitat For Humanity of Knox County is excited about bringing a RibFest to the Knox County Area. All proceeds go towards 2019 build for a Knox County Resident.

Since 1987, Knox County Habitat has served over 30 families through partnership to provide safe, decent, and affordable housing.
Knox County Habitat for Humanity was founded in 1987 after Habitat International’s founder; Millard Fuller visited First Congregational United Church of Christ here in Mt. Vernon. Inspired by his message, members of the church chartered a fully volunteer driven Habitat affiliate.
In the early 2000’s, we opened our 1st Restore location with the goal of generating revenue to fund additional builds and to have the ability to hire an affiliate director. In 2012, we moved to our current location on Wooster Rd.
Our volunteers, board members, and staff have made a significant impact on the lives of a Habitat Home Owner and on the health of the community in which we live and serve. We rely on local donations and sales from our Retail Restore to build one home per year in Knox County.
