Exchange Club Brings “Healing Field” to the Park

The Exchange Club of Mount Vernon and Knox County in partnership with e-Merge Real Estate is proud to present 500 American flags on 24-hour display at Ariel-Foundation Park at 10 Pittsburg Ave. in Mount Vernon from Oct. 16-19 in an event called “Knox County Healing Field: Heroes in Our Lives.”

Flags may be sponsored for $40 each and taken home at the end of the event to continue the tribute throughout the community as they fly proudly at homes and businesses. Donations and flag sponsorships can be made in person at e-Merge Real Estate, 110 Coshocton Ave in Mount Vernon; or online at www.healingfield.org/mountvernon; or at the time of the event.Flags can be purchased in memory or in honor of:

Active duty military
Fallen service men and women
First responders
Heroes in our lives
Veterans
Celebration of freedom
Hometown heroes
