About Buckeye Lake Winterfest 2020
Buckeye Lake Winterfest 2020 will be held Friday January 24 (now with per-events!), Saturday January 25 and Sunday January 26.Each year, Winterfest officially begins at dawn with the Benny the Bass – a live fish – who will either take the bait or not, predicting the coming of Spring, much like Groundhog�s Day. After early morning music and fireworks over Buckeye Lake at the kickoff to the event, festival goers are encouraged to travel around the lake to the many venues taking part in the region�s largest winter community celebration.There is something for everyone to find for entertainment along the shores of Buckeye Lake on the last Saturday of January each year. Highlights include:� dining specials� specialty drinks� live music� scenic views� art exhibits� children�s story time featuring Benny the Bass, the mascot, � marina open houses� shops with specials and sales� battle of the bands� and a parade!
