Mark Elliot (Mornings 6a – 9a Weekdays) In his youth, Mark Elliott dreamed of being a “Radio DJ” while delivering papers around his neighborhood. His dad even bought him a small tape recorder to produce his own radio “show.” When the chance came to be on the air at the college radio station he jumped in headfirst. Fast forward – Mark has had a long and successful on-air career working at radio stations across the country. (Tampa, Cincinnati, St. Louis, Detroit) He loves music, telling stories, and pampering his three grandkid

Bill Knight (Middays 11a – 3p Weekdays)Bill is a radio veteran with over, well let’s just say, many years of experience. He grew up in Fresno California, where he began his radio career in High School. In his free time, he’s a motorcycle enthusiast, loves to travel, spends time with family and friends, and most of all, outdoor recreation. He is also heavily involved with the community and church.

Doc Jarnagin (Middays 3p – 8p Weekdays)I grew up on Memphis radio in the mid-70s and throughout the 80s where Rick Dees got his start, and I got hooked. Instead of watching TV, I’d listen to the radio, and that’s where I fell in love with the medium. I still believe in the power of radio and the magic it can bring. While radio has changed, the one constant that will always remain is our being drawn to personalities. Radio reflects lifestyles with music, information, and personality, which I love.

Byrd (Evenings 8p – Midnight Weekdays) Byrd landed in Chicago, where he worked the legendary Loop for many years. He is an avid concertgoer and has interviewed many artists in his career. Byrd loves playing the Super Hits of the 60s and 70s as he learned to love the music his parents listened to as a youngster. Byrd keeps you company every weeknight!

Tyler Mathias (News/Sports Director) Hi, I am Tyler Mathias. I have been working with the Radio Station since I was in High School. I live at home in Centerburg with my wife Kim, kids Brantley and Brynn and stepchildren Hannah, Kayleigh and Colton. I enjoy spending time with my family and watching and attending Cleveland Guardians Baseball Games or catching an OSU Football or Basketball game. I am a diehard Guardians fan and a coach of my son’s Little League Team and have a wiffleball team that has played in tournaments for over 20 years. I am currently the News and Sports Director, host of the Spearman Financial Services Sports Roundtable Show, Tyler’s Guardian Talk, AM Knox County and the Monday Night Sports Talk Show. I love promoting High School Athletes and being involved in the local community.

Curtis Newland (General Manager / Sports Play by Play / Announcer) A lot of people around the Buckeye State have heard him, Thank Goodness fewer have seen him! Over 30 years in the industry it’s amazing he looks so young! (He made us put that in there) He likes tractors, wood working, small engines, metal working, porch sitting and eating, and mostly spending time with Family!

Vickie Reilly Account Executive/Marketing Advisor
Working in radio at BAS Broadcasting since 2007 has been fun and rewarding.
Few things are more gratifying to me than hearing excited advertisers share
stories of the results they have seen. It just doesn’t get much better than knowing
I played a part in the success of someone else!
Some of my favorite experiences at BAS have been zip-lining, winning our office bracket challenge – twice, meeting Bob Feller, and flying down the slide at the fire station.
What I look forward to the most is making memories with family and friends:
camping, traveling, hiking, gardening, and even simply relaxing. I volunteer on the Ashland BalloonFest committee, a hot air balloon festival. I appreciate all the blessings in my life, and hope I get to help others achieve their goals for many years to come!

Kurt Kershner (Sales Executive) I am married to my beautiful wife Kalvari of 27 years. We have three young adult children Annabelle 21, Andrew 18 and Austin 17. I have a bachelors degree in Media Studies from the Columbus College of Art and Design. After 17 years of working in the field of radio I have seen my local radio station flourish in many ways including watching local sports on the station’s Facebook live has connected the county more than I ever could have imagined. It’s my honor to help local businesses thrive and to grow. I am fortunate and blessed to have listened to 93.7fm in high school and now to be a driving force. Feel free to give me a call if you want to advertise or just need to grab a coffee and talk.
