Zambory Named Crossroads League Women’s Soccer Offensive Player of the Week

JACKSON, Mich. – Savannah Zambory of the Mount Vernon Nazarene University women’s soccer team was named as the Women’s Soccer Offensive Player of the Week by the Crossroads League on Monday, October 16.

Zambory scored both of MVNU’s goals in the 2-0 win at Huntington on Saturday, October 14. Both goals came in the second half to propel the Lady Cougars to their fourth Crossroads League victory of 2023.

The junior from Parma, Ohio is second on the team with four goals scored and is tied for the lead in assists with two.

Zambory and MVNU will host Indiana Wesleyan University on October 21 at 7:00pm.
