Women’s Volleyball Heading to Sioux City after Opening Round Win over Indiana Tech

MOUNT VERNON, Ohio.  The No.20 Mount Vernon Nazarene University women’s volleyball team (31-7) defeated Indiana Tech (31-5) in the NAIA Women’s Volleyball National Tournament Opening Round on Saturday, November 18.

MVNU had the privilege of hosting the Opening Round for the first time since the 2015 season against Ashford where it won in three sets. This time around, MVNU took down the Warriors in four sets by scores of 25-16, 25-21, 24-26, and 25-17.

MVNU will advance to the final site of the National Tournament which is set to take place on November 29 through December 5 in Sioux City, Iowa. Matchups and times are set to be released by the NAIA in the upcoming days.
