WMVO Good Times Great Oldies
CEDARVILLE, Ohio. – The Mount Vernon Nazarene University women’s track and field team continued its outdoor season on Saturday, March 26 in the Yellow Jacket Collegiate Open, hosted by Cedarville University.
Women’s Top Performers
The women’s 400 meter relay of Rachel Wilson, Missy Emery, Grace Chesser, and Maddie Kitchen placed second with a time of 54.45 seconds.
Emery placed sixth out of 19 in the 100 meter dash with a time of 13.41 seconds.
Macy Weaver placed sixth out of 29 runners in the 5000 meter run with a time of 18:16.23.
Ashley Burgess placed ninth out of 32 in the 400 meter dash with a time of 1:07.04.
Morgan Maffett placed 10 out of 19 throwers in the women’s shot put with a throw of 10.48 meters.
What’s Next
MVNU will next compete on April 2 in the George Glass Invite in Upland, Indiana, hosted by Taylor University.
