WMVO to host High School Basketball Senior Showcase at Fredericktown

WMVO Radio Proudly Presents the 2025 Basketball Senior Showcase
Mount Vernon, OH – WMVO Radio is thrilled to announce the 2025 Basketball Senior
Showcase, featuring Girls and Boys Basketball games featuring Senior players from
Knox County on March 14th at Fredericktown High School.
Event Details:
● Date: Friday, March 14, 2025
● Location: Fredericktown High School Gymnasium
● Time: 6:00 pm – Girls Game. The boys game will follow after a short intermission.
(app 7:15pm)
● Format: Girls and Boys Games featuring senior players from Centerburg,
Danville, Fredericktown, East Knox, and Mount Vernon High Schools.
● Selection: From the seniors participating, teams will be selected on or after
February 20 by WMVO Radio personalities Tyler Mathias and Curtis Newland,
announcers for WMVO basketball broadcasts.
● Game Format: 4 x 8-minute quarters with an exciting “Elam Ending” for a thrilling
finish.
● Awards: MVP awards will be presented to outstanding players in both the girls’
and boys’ games.
● Cost: $5 for students/senior adults and $8 for Adults.
Open to the Public:
This exciting event is open to the public. Come out and support these talented young
athletes as they conclude their high school basketball careers. The game will also be
broadcast on 100.9 FM, 93.7 HD-2 and the WMVO YouTube and Facebook pages.
