Danville at Mount Gilead

The Blue Devils are 8-0 and coming off a 52-22 win at Centerburg. Senior running back Cole Delaughder ran 23 times for 183 yards and 4 touchdowns. He’s run for 1,039 yards this year and 17 rushing scores. Senior Walker Weckesser added 17 carries for 115 yards and 2 rushing scores. Weckesser has 11 touchdowns rushing and 11 through the air this season to go with 1,315 total yards. The Blue Devils ran for 7 touchdowns in the win. The win was the third straight in which Danville has scored at least 52 points and 5th such time this season. They’ll take on a scuffling Mount Gilead team that comes in 2-6 and losers of 5 straight. The Indians fell 31-3 to Northmor last week and have scored just 21 points in their last 4 games combined. Cole Fricke and Eliot Jones have run for a combined 989 yards and 6 touchdowns this year for the Indians. This game can be seen on the WMVO Facebook Page.

East Knox Host Loudonville                                                 

The East Knox Bulldogs are 5-3 and have won 4 of their last 5 games. They are coming off a 35-0 win over Fredericktown. Blake Elliott ran for 3 touchdowns in the win and totaled 205 yards on the ground. Elliott has run for 933 yards and 12 touchdowns this year. Elliott has also been great on defense leading the team in tackles at 97. The Bulldogs defense has shut out three of their last four opponents and has 4 shutouts this season. Loudonville snapped a three game skid with a 49-0 win over Cardington Lincoln last week.

Northmor Host Centerburg

The Northmor Golden Knights are 6-2 and coming off a 31-3 win over Mount Gilead. AJ Bower threw three touchdown passes in the win. Bower has thrown for over 1,500 yards and 23 touchdowns this season. Teammate Carson Campbell has rushed for over 600 yards and 7 scores on the ground this year. 4-4 Centerburg lost 52-22 last week to Danville and the loss snapped a three game win streak for the Trojans. The offense has scored at least 21 points in each of the last 4 games.

Fredericktown at Cardington Lincoln

The Freddies are 3-5 coming off a 35-0 loss to East Knox. Fredericktown rushed for 160 yards in the loss led by Blake Sipes 73 yards. Sipes threw for 71 yards and two interceptions in the defeat. Cirk Parker and Lane Warner each had 14 tackles to lead the defense. The Pirates are 1-7 and are coming off a 49-0 loss to Loudonville. The Pirates have been shut out 3 out of the last 4 games.
