Snouffer Selected as AVCA NAIA All-American

MOUNT VERNON, Ohio. – After recently finishing off a great first season on the court for the Mount Vernon Nazarene University women’s volleyball team, Lyssi Snouffer earned herself another accolade.

The junior from Delaware, Ohio was honored by the American Volleyball Coaches Association as an NAIA All-American. Snouffer landed herself on the honorable mention team. The outside hitter helped lead MVNU to a 31-win season and its first trip to the NAIA Women’s Volleyball National Tournament since 2016.

Prior to being named as an AVCA All-American, Snouffer earned a spot on the All-Crossroads First Team and AVCA NAIA Midwest Region First Team.

Snouffer averaged 3.57 kills per set in 2023 while hitting .226 on the season. Snouffer had 410 digs and averaged 2.95 digs per set to help anchor MVNU’s backline.
