Owls ring up 18th straight CSCAA academic award

GAMBIER, Ohio — The College Swimming and Diving Coaches Association of America (CSCAA) announced this week that the Kenyon College men’s program has, once again, been named a Scholar All-America Team. The CSCAA delivers the honor twice a year and Kenyon collected it in each semester of the 2023-24 campaign.

Overall, the 34 student-athletes on the 2023-24 Kenyon men’s roster combined for a spring semester 3.49 team grade point average, which far surpassed the minimum 3.00 grade point average for award eligibility. In the fall, the team made the grade with 36 student-athletes combining for a 3.33 grade point average.

The award for the Owls marks the 18th straight season in which they earned a spot among the NCAA Division III Scholar All-America teams.

During the 2023-24 campaign, Kenyon posted a 5-2 dual meet record, won the North Coast Athletic Conference Championship for the 26th time in program history and went on to claim the runner-up spot at the NCAA Division III Championship.
