Owls gain academic award from United Soccer Coaches

KANSAS CITY, Mo. – United Soccer Coaches released today its list of Team Academic Award winners, recognizing exemplary performance in the classroom during the 2024-25 academic year. A total of 414 women’s collegiate teams, across all NCAA and NAIA divisions, earned the award, including the Kenyon College Owls.

The 2024-25 Kenyon team, directed by head coach Sarah McClellan, had 24 student-athletes who combined to chalk up a team grade point average of 3.58, which easily surpassed the baseline of 3.00 required for recognition.

The Kenyon women’s soccer program has now won the United Soccer Coaches Team Academic Award 19 times since first earning it in 2001.
