Owls academic efforts secure spot in NFCA rankings

LOUISVILLE, Ky. — Following their 2023-24 academic year and 2024 season, the Kenyon College softball team checked in on the National Fastpitch Coaches Association’s annual grade point ranking. The standings included 118 member teams from the NCAA Division III level, and the Owls slotted in at No. 59 on the 2023-24 Easton/NFCA Team GPA ledger.

A team of 15 student-athletes made up Kenyon’s 2024 roster, and the squad posted a combined grade point average of 3.552. That mark ensured the Owls were within the top 50 percent of all NCAA DIII teams in the NFCA’s rankings.
