Nuss and Snouffer Receive Player of the Week Honors for MVNU Volleyball

MOUNT VERNON, Ohio. – After strong weeks on the court for the Mount Vernon Nazarene University women’s volleyball team, Reagan Nuss and Lyssi Snouffer earned Player of the Week honors from the Crossroads League on Monday, August 26.

Snouffer, who has averaged 4.82 kills and 2.73 digs per set, was outstanding during the Onset Invitational at Saint Francis. The senior hit .258 over the course of four matches and was named the Attacker of the Week by the conference.

Nuss earned the Setter of the Week tag after a dominating week. Nuss totaled 129 assists and averaged 11.73 assists per set. The junior also recorded 42 digs averaging 3.82 per set, and had seven service aces in four matches.

Nuss and Snouffer return to action on Wednesday, August 28 for No.20 MVNU volleyball for a match at the University of Rio Grande at 6:00pm.
