No.19 Lady Cougars Sweep (RV) Marian

MOUNT VERNON, Ohio. – The No.19 Mount Vernon Nazarene University women’s volleyball team (20-5, 8-3) picked up a huge sweep with a 3-0 win over (RV) Marian University (14-7, 8-3) on Wednesday, October 4 in Ariel Arena.

The Lady Cougars came out strong, winning the first two sets by scores of 25-15 each. MVNU took the last set by a final of 25-23. The win for MVNU was its twentieth victory of the season. The season sweep of Marian is the first for MVNU since the 2016 season.

The Lady Cougars take a break from conference play as they hit the road to play in the ONU Tri-Match, hosted by Olivet Nazarene University in Bourbonnais, Illinois against Judson University and Olivet Nazarene on Saturday, October 7. First serves are at 4:00pm and 6:00pm.
