MVNU Tennis Falls to Ohio Wesleyan  

MOUNT VERNON, Ohio. – The Mount Vernon Nazarene University men’s and women’s tennis teams hosted a home match at the Ramser Tennis Courts against the Bishops of Ohio Wesleyan University on Tuesday, September 30.  

The men’s tennis team fell to a final of 0-7. In the third singles slot, Noah Hill put up a fight against his opponent, with a first set result of 4-6 and the second set 3-6. Nathan Fitzpatrick took the first set in the fourth singles slot with a score of 6-2, then lost the second and third set by scores of 3-6 and 3-10. 

The women’s team lost the match by a final of 0-7. In the second doubles slot, Alanna Reyes and Andi Green, put up a battle against the Bishops, but ultimately lost the set by a score of 3-6.  

What’s Next 

The men’s tennis team will be hosting Baldwin Wallace University at Ramser tennis Courts in Mount Vernon, Ohio on Saturday, October 11 with the time to still be announced. The women’s tennis team will be traveling to New Albany, Indiana to play against Indiana Southeast on Saturday, October 25 with a 9:00 a.m. start time.
