Miller Named Crossroads League Baseball Player of the Week

JACKSON, Mich. – After a hot week at the plate, Andrew Miller of the Mount Vernon Nazarene University baseball team was named as the Crossroads League Baseball Player of the Week on Monday, April 25.

This is the second time this season that Miller has claimed player of the week honors from the Crossroads League. Miller was an instrumental part of MVNU’s four game sweep of the Grace College Lancers. The shortstop from Millersburg, Ohio batted .500 on the week. He had three homeruns and eight RBI for the Cougars. Miller added two doubles, scored seven times and slugged 1.111 over the four games.

Miller and MVNU baseball will be back in action on Friday, April 29 as it begins its final series of the regular season. First pitch against the Foresters of Huntington University is set for 2:00pm.
