Lords jump into top-25 rankings

NORMAN, Okla. – The Kenyon College golf team saw its name added to the latest Bushnell/Golfweek Division III rankings announced on Friday. The Lords entered the poll at No. 20 after being unranked in the previous iteration.

In their latest tournament, the Lords won the Division III Showcase hosted by Hanover College on the fifth-player drop score after tying with No.6-ranked Carnegie Mellon University. At the event, Kenyon set new program records in single-round and two-round team scores. In the win, the Lords finished ahead of 10 NCAA Division III top-25 ranked opponents.

Following the team victory, Armand Oullette collected North Coast Athletic Conference (NCAC) Golfer of the Week honors. Individually, Oullette tied for second place at the Showcase with his scores of one-under par 69 in the first round and his even-par 70 in the second round.

Oullette and the Lords return home to host the NCAC/Ohio Athletic Conference Clash at Apple Valley Golf Course this weekend.
