Lehman and Liplin Win Runner of the Week Honors from Crossroads League

JACKSON, Mich. – Ryan Lehman and Tammy Liplin won the Men’s and Women’s Cross Country Runner of the Week from the Crossroads League on Monday, October 20.

Lehman led MVNU at the Jenna Strong Fall Classic, finishing fourth-of-250 competitors at the event. Lehman crossed with a time of 25:55.6. The honor is the first of the sophomore’s career.

Liplin ran a time of 19:02.4 for Mount Vernon Nazarene at the Jenna Strong Fall Classic. That performance helped Liplin end in 11th out of 194 individuals at the event. This marks the second time this season that the sophomore has received the Runner of the Week honor from the Crossroads League.

MVNU is back in action on October 25 at the Great Lakes Challenge in Grand Rapids, Michigan.
