NORTH CANTON, Ohio. — The Mount Vernon Nazarene University women’s track and field team competed in the Walsh Tune Up, hosted by Walsh University, on Thursday, April 28.
Top Performers
The 1600m relay of Ashley Burgess, Grace Chesser, Missy Emery, and Maddie Kitchen placed fourth with a time of 4:22.58.
Emery placed 10 out of 20 runners in the 100m dash with a time of 13.28 seconds.
Emery placed 12 in the long jump with a jump of 4.50m.
Macy Thorne placed 14 overall out of 20 runners with a time of 5:34.81.
What’s Next
MVNU will now prepare for the Crossroads League Championships at the Harris Family Track & Field Stadium in Notre Dame, Indiana on May 5-6.
