MOUNT VERNON, Ohio. – The Mount Vernon Nazarene University women’s soccer team (3-0-1) secured a 1-0 win at Siena Heights University (1-3-0) on Wednesday, September 3.
The first half ended with a score of 0-0. With only eight minutes remaining in the second half, Bekah Blair put the Lady Cougars on the board. Blair was assisted by Alexis Hoffman. This was Blair’s second goal of the season. The Lady Cougars would go on to win the match by a final of 1-0.
Hannah Miller played all 90 minutes for the Lady Cougars and collected three saves. MVNU had seven shots, and five shots were on goal. This marks MVNU’s third shutout of the season.

MVNU will host Indiana University Kokomo at CH4 Stadium on Saturday, September 6. Kickoff will start at 3:00 p.m.
