WMVO Good Times Great Oldies
Teams met Sunday to place themselves on the bracket for High School Boys Basketball Tournament play after the RPI determined what seed they would be.
Notable in Division One:
There will be 6 District Champs. Top seed is Olentangy Orange and they will host Central Crossing February 26th with the winner playing 17 seed Lancaster for a District Title. Newark is a 5 seed and will host 12 seed Olentangy February 26th with the winner getting 8 seed Upper Arlington for a District Title on March 1st at 10am at the Ohio Expo Center.
Reynoldsburg is the two seed and will host 22 seed Dublin Jerome February 26th with the winner getting the winner of 14 seed Marysville and 15 seed Hilliard Bradley at the Expo Center at 6pm on March 1st.
Delaware Hayes is 4 seed and will host 20 seed Grove City. Winner plays the winner of 9 seed Groveport Madison and 16 seed Gahanna Lincoln on Sunday March 2nd at 330pm for a District Title.
Division Two:
Westerville North is the one seed, New Albany is the two seed
Licking Heights is a three seed and will host Logan February 24th. The winner plays the winner of 10 Westerville South and 13 seed Canal Winchester.
Mount Vernon is the 8 seed and will host 9 seed Worthington Kilbourne on February 24th at 7pm with the winner playing the winner of 7 seed Thomas Worthington and 11 seed Westerville Central at the Expo Center on February 28th at 830pm.
Division 5:
Africentric is the one seed and host 16 seed Utica 1pm on February 22nd. East Knox is the 14 seed and will play at 3 seed Bishop Ready February 22nd at 1pm. Fredericktown host Mount Gilead as the 6 seed at 4pm on February 22nd. Fredericktown or Mount Gilead plays the winner of the East Knox, Ready game.
Division 6:
Centerburg is a 4 seed and host Madison Plains on February 18th. That game time is TBD as the Girl’s team could also be playing at home the same night in Centerburg. The winner plays two seed Tree of Life on February 21st. Northmor is the three seed and got a bye and will play the winner of 6 seed Mechanicsburg and 8 seed Grandview Heights. Northmor and Centerburg could meet in a District FInal. Cardington Lincoln is the one seed in Division 6 in the Central District.
Division 7:
Danville is the 11 seed and plays at 4 seed Fisher Catholic February 21st at 7pm with the winner playing 2 seed Shekinah Christian February 25th on the road.
