Hurlburt Named Crossroads League Pitcher of the Week

JACKSON, Mich. – After a dominant start against the Maple Leafs, Jared Hurlburt of the Mount Vernon Nazarene University baseball team was named the Crossroads League Pitcher of the Week on Monday, April 21.

Hurlburt pitched a complete game shutout in MVNU’s 1-0 win at Goshen. The junior from Sykesville, Maryland, allowed just three hits while striking out 11 batters.

MVNU wraps up the regular season on April 24-25 against Huntington University at the Cougar Baseball Field.
