Hodkinson Named to CoSIDA All-America First Team

AUSTIN, Texas. – For the second consecutive year, Evan Hodkinson of the Mount Vernon Nazarene University Men’s Cross Country and Track & Field Teams has been named as a CoSIDA Academic All-America First Team recipient.

The biology major from Dalton, Ohio, achieved great success on the track for MVNU, while also excelling academically with a 3.95 GPA.

On the track, Hodkinson was an outdoor all-conference performer in the 800m and the 4x400m. Hodkinson was also an NAIA Outdoor National Qualifier in the 800m, 1500m, and the 4x800m. In the 800m, Hodkinson finished as the National Runner Up, sporting a time of 1:50.40.
