High School Volleyball teams have Tournament path decided

The OHSAA and High School Girl’s Volleyball teams across the state held the annual tournament draw Sunday and the following are the results in the Central District

Division 1: Top seed is Olentangy Orange, they’ll open play at home vs 25 seed Westland on October 23rd and the winner will face the winner of 14 seed Lancaster and 18 seed New Albany. Dublin Jerome is the 8 seed and host the 20 seed Delaware Hayes October 21st. Newark is the 5 seed and host 13 seed Upper Arlington October 22nd.

Division 2: Dublin Scioto is the 1 seed and drew a bye and will play the winner of 7 seed Canal Winchester and 13 seed Whetstone on October 23rd. Mount Vernon is the 5 seed and host 11 seed Watkins Memorial on October 23rd. They could face Dublin Scioto the next round.

Division 3: Bloom Carroll is the top seed in the Central District. They got a bye and will face the winner of the 16 seed Whitehall Yearling and 17 seed Columbus South on October 17th at home. Granville is the 10 seed and will face 6 seed Bexley on October 17th.

Division 4: Marengo Highland is the 1 seed and will open up tournament play on October 19th versus Columbus Horizon Science. 4 seed Fredericktown will host 6 seed Heath October 19th at 2pm.

Division 5: London Madison Plains is the top seed. Utica is the 8 seed and got a bye and will the winner of 3 seed North Union and 11 seed Northmor. Johnstown is the 5 seed and plays the winner of 4 seed Northridge and 9 seed Liberty Union on October 22nd.

Division 6: Marion Pleasant is the 1 seed and will host 11 seed Grandview Heights on October 16th. The winner plays 12 seed Mount Gilead. Newark Catholic the 2 seed and will host 10 seed Cardington Lincoln on October 16th. Centerburg is the 3 seed and got a bye. They’ll play the winner of 4 seed Elgin and 8 seed Mechanicsburg October 23rd. 9 seed East Knox is at 4 seed Delaware Christian on October 16th.

Division 7: Danville is the 10 seed and plays at 2 seed Shekinah Christian October 14th
