Hannah Vaughn Makes History, Becomes First All-American for MVNU Bowling

KANSAS CITY, Mo. — Hannah Vaughn of the Mount Vernon Nazarene University women’s bowling team made history on Wednesday, March 22.

The junior from Fredericktown, Ohio was named to the All-American Honorable Mention team. The honor is the first All-American nod in Vaughn’s career. With the honor, Vaughn also becomes the first bowler in school history to become an All-American.

Vaughn put together a great 2022-23 season as she received First Team All-Crossroads League recognition as well.

“We are so proud of the hard work and leadership Hannah shows on the team,” said Head Coach Amber Brubaker. “We look forward to seeing her teammates on this list in the future.”

“It is such an amazing honor to be recognized as an All-American,” said Vaughn when asked about her accomplishment. “I wouldn’t have been able to do it without the support of my coaches, teammates, friends, and family. I’m looking forward to working in the off-season to have an even better season for my last year.”
