SIOUX CITY, Iowa. –– The nineteenth seeded Mount Vernon Nazarene University women’s volleyball team (31-9) fell in the NAIA Women’s Volleyball National Championship Pool Play to eleventh seeded Columbia College (31-6) on Thursday, November 30.

It was a fantastic season for Coach Kendra Moshers crew as they placed second in the Crossroads League, surpassed 30 wins, and ended the regular season ranked No.20 in the NAIA Coaches’ Poll. The National Tournament bid was MVNU’s first since 2016.

MVNU needed a win to keep its season alive in Sioux City after falling to Park University the previous night but was unfortunately unable to do so as it fell to Columbia in three sets by scores of 16-25, 17-25, and 23-25.
