Gage Secures First Career Defensive Player of the Week Honor

JACKSON, Mich. — Milton Gage, a graduate senior point guard from Trotwood, Ohio, earned his first Crossroads League Men’s Basketball Defensive Player of the Week honor.

Gage was instrumental in MVNU’s wins over Taylor and Goshen, tallying four steals against TU and five against GC. Averaging 4.5 steals per game, he also helped MVNU hold opponents to just 72.0 points per contest.

Gage and the MVNU men’s basketball team return to action on Wednesday, February 5, as they take on the No. 19 Huntington University Foresters in a Crossroads League matchup at Ariel Arena. Tip-off is set for 7:00 p.m.
