Freddies and Blue Devils pick up key KMAC Victories

The Fredericktown Freddies welcomed in East Knox for their final home game of the season and left with a 31-0 victory. The Freddies, winners of 4 of their last 5 games are sitting 14th in Computer Points entering Monday. Blake Sipes ran for a pair of scores and threw a touchdown pass to Gavin Toombs, Brode Davis had a pick six in the Freddies win. Blake Elliott ran for 111 yards for the Bulldogs in the loss. Elliott added 16 tackles on defense. Fredericktown is now 5-3 and 4-1 in the KMAC, East Knox falls to 4-4 and 3-2 in the KMAC.

Danville’s last home loss was in 2022 to Centerburg and that didn’t change Friday Night as the Blue Devils downed the Trojans 12-0 at home. Aidan Burke had a 20 yard touchdown run to get the Blue Devils on the board and Jacob Hackman ran one from 5 yards out for the only scores Danville needed to pick up their 6th victory of the year. The Blue Devils also stay in the KMAC Title race as they improved to 4-1. The Trojans dropped to 5-3 and 3-2 in the KMAC.
