LOUISVILLE, Ky. — Inside Lacrosse announced Wednesday that four members of the Kenyon College Owls were named to the organization’s 2025 Nike Lacrosse Preseason Men’s DIII All-America Team. The quartet included David Chintala, Adam Hall, Rollins Heath, and Thomas Nelson.
Chintala, a junior attack, led the Owls with 57 goals and 72 points last season, pumping his career numbers in those categories to 111 and 139, respectively. With the possibility of two full years ahead of him, Chintala, a 2024 United States Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association (USILA) postseason All-American and two-time All-North Coast Athletic Conference (NCAC) performer, is on pace to break Kenyon records for career goals (140) and career points (238).
Hall, a junior, is the Owls’ last line of defense. A two-year starting goalkeeper, he has 393 career saves and a 28-9 record between the pipes. He’s played more than 2,000 minutes and owns an impressive 9.90 career goals against average. Like Chintala, Hall is a two-time (NCAC) honoree.
In between Chintala and Hall, Heath patrols the midfield for Kenyon. Now a senior, he’s coming off his best collegiate season, one that included personal-bests of 30 goals, 19 assists, 49 points, and 52 ground-balls. He, too, was twiced named an All-NCAC player, in addition to a pair of postseason All-American honors from the USILA.
Nelson, the team’s most decorated player, is a senior faceoff specialist, who has already broken several Kenyon records and owns four career postseason All-America awards from two different organizations. This year marks the second straight that Nelson was named to Inside Lacrosse’s preseason team. As he heads into his final season, Nelson will look to add to his Kenyon career records, including ground balls (458) and faceoffs won (666).
All four Kenyon players who were recognized by Inside Lacrosse were selected to the All-America team as honorable mentions. They, along with the rest of the team will get the season started Saturday with a 1 p.m. contest at Transylvania University.
