CLEVELAND — Kenyon College junior Alem Duratovic scored three times in the Owls’ last two soccer games and led the team to a pair of wins. For his efforts, Duratovic was named the North Coast Athletic Conference (NCAC) Athlete of the Week.
On Tuesday, in a home game against Centre College, Duratovic netted the game’s only goal. On Saturday, he scored both the Owls’ first and third goals in a 3-1 conference victory at DePauw University.
Duratovic not only leads Kenyon, but also the entire NCAC, in both points (17) and goals (8) at the mid-way point of the season. His output this past week also moved him to eighth place all-time in the program’s record book with 33 career goals.
Duratovic and the Owls currently sport a 7-3-0 overall record and a 1-0-0 conference mark. They’ll return to the pitch Wednesday to host the Ohio Wesleyan University Battling Bishops at Mavec Field.
