Dujakovich dubbed NCAC Offensive Athlete of the Week

CLEVELAND, Ohio — The Kenyon College men’s soccer team earned Athlete of the Week recognition from the North Coast Athletic Conference (NCAC) for the second straight week as Eamon Dujakovich was dubbed the league’s Offensive Athlete of the Week. Dujakovich helped the Owls secure two huge shutout wins against their top NCAC opponents en route to earning the honor.

The junior paced the Owls in shots (6) and shots on goal (3) across the two victories while tying for the team lead with one goal. In Kenyon’s 2-0 win over Ohio Wesleyan University at home on October 4, Dujakovich helped seal the deal with an insurance goal off an Isaac Cortez assist in the 59th minute. The midfielder applied the pressure in the Owls’ 1-0 road win at Denison University on October 7, leading Kenyon and tying for match-highs with four shots and two shots on goal.

Dujakovich ranks second on the Owls and is tied for 11th in the NCAC with nine points on four goals and one assist. The Lenexa, Kansas native is second on the team in both shots (26) and shots on goal (11) while playing the fifth most minutes this season (892).

The pair of wins pushed Kenyon’s winning streak to four and its record to 9-3-0 overall and 3-0 in the NCAC. Dujakovich will look to help the Owls extend their record NCAC undefeated regular-season streak to 55 when the team travels to Wooster, Ohio, to face The College of Wooster at 4 p.m. today.
