WMVO Good Times Great Oldies
The Danville Blue Devils softball team won Monday over West Holmes 15-5. Ruby Bartok had 3 hits and drove in 4 runs in the game including a third inning home run. She also drove in a pair with a single in the fifth. The Lady Blue Devils scored 6 runs on 5 hits in the bottom of the 5th. Addison Mickley doubled bringing in two runs, Alicia Humphrey singled in scoring a run and Bartok drove in the aforementioned two runs. Maddy Payne also had an RBI single.
Humphrey picked up the win for the Lady Blue Devils going 4 innings striking out 5 while allowing 3 runs one earned on 4 hits. Bartok went an inning allowing two runs on 4 hits.
Maddy Payne drove in a run and Merista Brown drove in two for the Lady Blue Devils. The Lady Blue Devils are now 4-0. The Lady Blue Devils have now scored 53 runs through 5 games.
