Bryer Boeshart ran for 91 yards including a 77 yard touchdown run in the win. Josh Byers was in on 23 tackles and had 4 tackles for loss on defense in the win.
Delaughder has 1,438 yards on the ground and 21 rushing touchdowns this year to lead the ground attack for Danville. Walker Weckesser has run for 656 and 15 scores and Bryer Boeshart has run for 379 and 6 scores. Weckesser has thrown for 1,352 and 18 touchdowns.
Defensively the Blue Devils are led by Josh Byers with 141 tackles and 14 tackles for loss. Caleb Lucas has 99 tackles, 10 sacks with 23 tackles for loss. Bryer Boeshart has 87 tackles and 2 interceptions.
The Blue Devils come in averaging 46 points per game and allowing 13 points per contest.
Lowellville meanwhile is coming off a 32-7 upset win over Western Reserve. The team’s only loss of the season was an early regular season loss to Western Reserve. The Rockets were led on the ground by Santino Rivera-Ocasio who ran for 252 yards on 26 carries and two touchdowns.
The Rockets are led by senior quarterback Michael Ballone, who has 1,797 yards, 20 touchdowns and six picks. He has also rushed for 931 yards and nine touchdowns at 10 yards per carry. Senior receiver Mathew Lucido has caught 46 passes for 747 yards and nine touchdowns this year as the main target for Ballone.
Rivera-Ocasio, the senior running back has 967 yards rushing with 17 touchdowns, averaging 7.4 yards per carry. Geno Perry has 108 carries for 592 yards and nine touchdowns.The Rockets defense is led by AJ Boehlke with 93 tackles and 5 sacks. Vinny Perry has 9.5 sacks and 80 tackles, Casey Gordon has 68 tackles and 5.5 sacks, Rivera-Ocasio 75 tackles and Ballone 47 tackles and 3 interceptions.
