11-2 DANVILLE VS 13-0 BEAVER EASTERN IN DIVISION 7 REGION 27 HIGH SCHOOL FOOTBALL REGIONAL FINAL
The Danville Blue Devils are looking to get back to a Final Four and they will do so if they can be the first team to take down the Eagle of Beaver Eastern.
Danville dominated Miller last Friday in a 46-6 win to advance. Danville was led on the ground by freshman Cyren Wallace who raced for 293 yards and 2 touchdowns. Aidan Burke ran for 103 yards and a score as the Blue Devils as a team ran for 492 yards in the win.
The Blue Devils face an Eastern team that beat Conotton Valley 29-22 last week. The 2nd seeded Eagles are led by quarterback Eric Manley who has thrown for 28 touchdowns on the season.
The Eagles have won 23 of their last 25 games, the 13 wins is the most in Pike County in a season in history.
Manley was 16-26 passing for 172 yards and 2 touchdown passes. Brady Moore ran 30 times for 181 yards on the ground.
Tucker Leist had 8 catches for 52 yards.
On the defensive side Wyatt Richardson had 9 tackles and fellow senior Declan Davis had 7 tackles with two tackles for loss and a sack
