Mount Vernon fell 35-0 to Delaware Hayes last Friday. Mavrik Gregory was the leading rusher for the Yellow Jackets, with 91 yards on 7 attempts for a 13-yard average. His longest run was for 47 yards.
Johnstown lost 48-12 to Granville last week.
Granville senior quarterback Beckett Long hit classmate Noble Teremuh for four touchdown passes and also ran for a score himself as the Blue Aces pulled away and defeated Johnstown 48-12 at Walter J. Hodges Stadium.
1-2 East Knox at 0-3 Loudonville
East Knox lost 33-0 to Colonel Crawford without starting quarterback Jaxon Lester. Rush Beatty threw for 108 yards in the loss. Blake Elliott ran 16 times for 47 yards. Logan Clark had 2 catches for 80 yards.
Loudonville lost 42-7 for a second straight week as they fell to unbeaten Hillsdale. Owen Sloan, a junior for Hillsdale, rushed for 132 yards on 10 carries and a trio of touchdowns, with a one-yard bolt and 75 yarder.
Dillan Wade went 14 of 22 passing for 136 yards and a pair of interceptions, adding 59 yards rushing on 13 carries. Josiah Hershberger was his main target, catching seven passes for 63 yards.
2-1 Centerburg vs 3-0 Northmor
Centerburg quarterback Blane Ball totaled 341 all purpose yards (151 passing and 190 rushing) in a 44-21 win over Worthington Christian.
Northmor has dominated opponents through three weeks. Northmor defeated Mapleton 47-7 last week and has outscored opponents 144-21 in three weeks. Last week Cowin Becker ran for 64 yards and 2 touchdowns, he had 58 yards receiving with a score and had a kick return touchdown in the win.
Northmor quarterback AJ Bower threw for 5 touchdowns in Northmor’s 48-7 win over Centerburg last year.
1-2 Fredericktown host 2-1 Cardington (LIVESTREAM ON WMVO FACEBOOK AND ON WMVO ON RADIO)
Blake Sipes was held to just 89 yards passing but ran for 171 yards in Fredericktown’s loss at home to Utica last week 18-15. Sipes has totaled 7 touchdowns in 3 games with 5 turnovers. Gavin Toombs has a pair of touchdown passes for the Freddies.
Cardington beat Bucyrus 46-8 last week. Cardington is led on the ground this season by Wyatt Denney who’s run for 331 yards and 5 touchdowns this season. Denney ran for 159 yards last week and Kalin Briggs added 139 yards on the ground in the win.

Danville fell last week on the road to Hopewell Loudon 12-8
The Blue Devils totaled 99 yards of offense. Aiden Burke had 12 carries for 33 yards. Jacob Hackman threw a 59 yard touchdown pass to Caleb Lucas for the lone score for the Blue Devils. Josh Byers had 20 tackles to lead the defense.
Mount Gilead meanwhile beat Grove City Christian 32-13. Carson Barnum ran for 50 yards and 2 touchdowns. Cole Fricke threw a 54 yard touchdown pass to Wyatt Long in the win.
