2-2 Centerburg at 0-4 Loudonville
Centerburg fell 34-26 to Northmor in the KMAC opener last week. The Trojans are led by Blane Ball who is 2nd in the KMAC 614 passing yards and 9 passing touchdowns. Loudonville Quarterback Dilan Wade leads the conference in interceptions with 7 but has thrown 3 touchdowns with 469 through the air.
4-0 Northmor host 3-1 Danville (LIVESTREAM WMVO FACEBOOK, WMVO RADIO)
The Golden Knights are the only unbeaten team in the KMAC led by the leader in passing in the KMAC in AJ Bower at 740 yards and 10 touchdowns through the air. Bower threw for 216 yards and three touchdowns in the win over Centerburg last week and Cowin Becker ran for 186 yards and two scores while averaging 8.5 yards per carry.
Danville came from behind to knock off Mount Gilead 20-8. The Blue Devils ran for 219 yards and got touchdown runs from Aidan Burke, Jacob Hackman and Josh Byers. Byers also had 25 tackles on defense in a remarkable performance. Byers is one of the leaders in tackles nationwide.
2-2 East Knox at 2-2 Cardington Lincoln
The Bulldogs shut out Loudonville 34-0 last week. Blake Elliott ran for 302 yards and 2 touchdowns. Jaxon Lester threw for 87 yards and a score. Elliott is second in the conference in rushing at 595 yards and 3 scores.
The Pirates lost 45-18 to Fredericktown last week. They are led by one of the top rushers in the KMAC as well as Wyatt Denney is third in the KMAC in rushing with 585 yards but is 2nd in the conference in rushing touchdowns at 7.
2-2 Fredericktown host 2-2 Mount Gilead (WMVO FACEBOOK)
The Fredericktown got a great performance on the ground in their 45-18 over Cardington last week. Blake Sipes only threw for 34 yards but ran for 268 yards and 4 touchdowns in the win over the Pirates. Sipes leads the KMAC in rushing with 715 yards and 8 touchdowns this season on the ground. His teammate Elijah Roush is 7th in the conference in rushing.
Mount Gilead lost to Danville last week. Cam Vickers in 4th in the conference in rushing at 445 yards and a touchdown. Vickers also leads the conference in tackles for loss at 10. The Indians have the second most rushing yards in the conference trailing only Fredericktown.
0-4 Mount Vernon host 1-3 Heath
Johnstown Quarterback Sam Marasek ended with 73 passing yards, 119 rushing yards and three touchdowns, and running back Nana Owusu averaged six yards per carry on 126 total yards, finding the end zone three times as well as Johnstown shut out Mount Vernon 45-0. Johnstown totaled 312 yards rushing as a team. Mount Vernon has been shut out each of the last two games.
Heath lost 35-0 at Licking Valley last week.
