Danville and Mount Vernon receive high seeds in District Draw, KMAC releases stats

The District tournament draw was held Sunday and here’s how Knox County Schools fared

Division Two:

Mount Vernon is the two seed and host 14 seed Columbus Briggs May 21st at 5pm. The winner plays the winner of 6 seed Big Walnut and 12 seed Whetstone at Olentangy High School in a District Final on May 23rd.

Division Five Fredericktown is the three seed and host nine seed North Union on May 14th. The winner will play the winner of 8 seed Amanda Clearcreek and 6 seed Northmor in a District Semifinal at the higher seeds site on May 19th.

Centerburg is also in Division 5 and is on the same side of the bracket as top seed Liberty Union. The Lady Trojans open play as the 5 seed hosting 11 seed Utica May 14th. The winner plays the winner of 4 seed Madison Plains and 10 seed Grove City Christian.

Danville is the top seed in Division 6 and has a bye and will host the winner of 10 seed Mount Gilead and 11 seed East Knox who play at Mount Gilead May 13th. Danville and the winner of that game would play in Danville on May 15th. Cardington is the three seed and could meet Danville in a District Final.
