Crossroads League Awards Pierson Defensive Player of the Week

JACKSON, Mich. — For the second time this season, goalie Brayden Pierson, has been awarded as the Defensive Player of the Week from the Crossroads League on Monday, October 28.

Pierson had a phenomenal week in goal for the Cougars. In the last home match of the season against (RV) Marian, the freshman from Lebanon, Ohio had seven saves in 90 minutes of play en route to the 1-0 upset win. On the season, Pierson’s record is 5-3-2 for games he has started in.

Pierson and MVNU men’s soccer wrap up the regular season on the road at the University of Saint Francis on Wednesday, October 30 at 7:00 p.m.
