Brown Earns Men’s Basketball Defensive Player of the Week from Crossroads League

JACKSON, Mich. – Isaiah Brown of the Mount Vernon Nazarene University men’s basketball team has been named as the Crossroads League Men’s Basketball Defensive Player of the Week on Monday, November 3.

Brown made an impact on the defensive end of the floor, averaging 2.5 steals and one block per game against Kent State Tuscarawas and Kentucky Christian. MVNU would win both games by scores of 125-75 and 97-78, respectively.

The sophomore from Olentangy, Ohio also averaged 16.5 points per game for the Cougars during the week.
